Carer’s Week
The last few months have been particularly difficult for carers helping adults or children who need support many of whom may have been especially vulnerable during the height of the pandemic.
Carers should be represented in research and education programmes and MS Research are doing their best to support both carers and those who have MS at this time. As the restrictions on meeting and information events are gradually reduced, we plan to start a series of support sessions, initially on-line, to help those living with MS.
We are also aiming to strengthen and extend our Board of Trustees. We would be especially keen to recruit those who live with MS as carers or those diagnosed with the condition.
